The Department of Consular Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) released on December 8, 2023 the Circular on Temporarily Reducing the Visa Fees Charged by Embassies/Consulates of the People’s Republic of China, saying that as temporary measures to facilitate personal exchange between China and foreign countries, the visa fees will be reduced by 25 percent of the current rates from December 11, 2023 to December 31, 2024.
